Chef James Aptkin
Chef James Aptkin is a Chef by trade and philantropist at heart. With 24 years of experience, Chef James worked at various restaurants throughout Miami, and then became a proud member of the US Navy, cooking meals for 6,000 crew members. He attended two top schools - California Culinary Academy and Culinary Institute of America. He is classically trained in French cuisine and has also mastered Hawaiian and Pan Asian. He approaches food as art with his intrinsic flair for innovation and consisten drive of achieving the highest level of passion for food.
He has prestigiously acclaimed the first place title for Food Network's Challenge 'Big Bash Caterers', he has own successful sauce line on Home Shopping Network and was also featured on Travel Channel's 'Taste of America'. Chef James is the co-creator of "Chefs for Charity" where he is able to use his talent to raise awaremenss and money for American Cancer Society, Food Bank, Child Haven and other national grooups. Chef James continues to create community relations to help make a difference by bringing people together through their bellies.
